Why hire Fractionalist?

Fractionalist exists to help early-stage startup founders save time and reduce risk. Our veteran team of CxOs have seen just about everything when it comes to starting a company from scratch.

Fractionalist provides experienced startup leadership, for just what you need right now. Our business is built around the success of yours. We can help identify opportunities and inefficiencies, put the right systems, levers, processes and measures in place, support your fundraising efforts, and build a sales and marketing engine that drives repeatable results.

We work alongside your team, identifying ways to accelerate the achievement of your goals. An outsourced or fractional leader does the same kinds of tasks that a full-time CxO would do, but on a part-time, program or project specific basis. We've built companies before, worn a lot of hats, and made a lot of mistakes- some that we could have avoided. Like a full-time leader, we take accountability for meeting performance targets.

Who do you work with? Who don’t you work with?

We work with early stage founders who have built an MVP and are generating at least $10k/ a month in recurring revenue or have raised $100k in funding. We like to see companies that have been able to prove out the initial vision by selling to customers and/or by raising a pre-seed round, even if it’s just friends-and-family.

What kind of work do you do?

Fractionalist has a consortium of over a dozen specialists in finance, technology, visual design, sales, and global operations which expands our expertise. Call us when:

• You want the objective feedback of someone who has “been there” before,

• Your team and partners are strong, but you see a knowledge gap in a key discipline,

• You need capital, but aren’t sure where to start or could use help in broadening your options,

• You are an international company in the EU or Commonwealth and looking to expand into the US market.

What does a typical engagement look like?

We support founders through monthly and quarterly retainers, or scoped, results-oriented project work.
Retained work includes activities such weekly Founder 1:1s, investor matching and introductions, and general operational issues facing early-stage companies.
Recent projects included pitch deck development and rehearsal, quarterly content strategy and planning, product market fit assessment and sales/marketing GTM for companies with product-market fit.
We accept cash or cash + equity as payment.
