Accelerating Time to Market: Fractionalist Pivot
If there is one thing we have seen in the past year, it's that fundraising is hot. Companies are able to pull in cash such that money is effectively free. Limiting factors become time and talent. You can’t make more time, so when you're trying to ship products or take on R&D efforts, talent becomes your leverage. That is where Fractionalist comes in.
We've had a lot of fun helping startups grow for the last 9+ months. Our work has spanned investment strategy, product-market fit, sales enablement, and go-to-market strategy. Several companies have closed pre-seed and seed rounds during that time. It's been fantastic to work with passionate entrepreneurs as they navigate the fundraising circuit. That said, many startups aren’t ready to engage professional help in these efforts.
So like many startups, we made a pivot to what customers value and will pay for. While we had been hesitant to focus on outsourced software development work, it turns out that many companies need senior level technical advice. As a result, we’ve brought on two experienced CTOs to round out our team.
We've kicked off several projects for a range of companies from early-stage startups to established companies looking to outsource R&D on technologies they don't have a core competence in. It turns out we're pretty damn good at it too.

We'll still sprinkle in our early-stage expertise and investment strategy, competitive positioning, marketing, and go-to-market strategy where it makes sense. We've designed and built IoT solutions for large real-estate players and even shipped a SIM car for a government agency. Our expertise is broad and our team is talented. Plus, we kind of love tackling new and challenging things that simply cannot be done in house. In fact, we thrive at it.
